Ms. Baerts is currently in full preparation for her own creation, commissioned by the Asko|Schoenberg Ensemble and the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ for fall 2025. More information will follow soon!

Ms. Baerts' new season is now online! It includes her debut with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, her debut at the MiTo Festival in Torino Italy, the conclusion of a series of Kafka Fragmente with writer Arnon Grunberg and chamber music concerts with music by Debussy, Ravel and Messiaen.

Ms. Baerts' latest album released by Bastille Musique has just been awarded the 'Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik' for the Best Contemporary Album 3/2023. It is featuring Grisey's 'L'Icone Paradoxale' with the WDR Sinfonieorchester joined by Mezzo-Soprano Kora Pavelic and conducted by Sylvain Cambreling.

Ms. Baerts has just returned from the Salzburger Festspiele, which has been greatly received in the press. From "rousingly precise" to creating "great emotions" (Salzburger Nachtrichten), "spectral music of a masterly style" performed in an "enchanted way" (DrehPunktKultur). Ms. Baerts "sang with lyrical delicacy or intermittently thrown out short tones not only the drama of the individual passing away, but also that of the whole civilization." (Der Standard).
